Government Transparency

From time to time, Western Energy Alliance has had to make Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to obtain access to information that the government is concealing from the public. As a condition of all our FOIA requests, we agree to make the information available publicly so that our members and other public interest groups have access.

Uintah & Ouray Reservation Federal Implementation Plan

Greater Sage-Grouse FOIA Documents

Western Energy Alliance was compelled to file three Freedom of Information (FOIA) requests because the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) refused to disclose the science they used in Greater Sage-Grouse plans and while evaluating the species for listing under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
