Alliance to hold media conference call on Trump’s First 100 Days and next steps
DENVER – On Monday, May 1st at 1:00 pm ET, Western Energy Alliance’s President Kathleen Sgamma will hold a conference call for reporters to discuss Pres. Donald Trump’s accomplishments in his first 100 days in office that support western oil and natural gas production and next steps for the Administration.
“The new administration is now curtailing unlawful rules put in place by an otherwise unaccountable bureaucracy that went far beyond Congress’ intent,” said Sgamma. “Hard work remains with many of the redundant regulations identified for review and rescission. We also call on the Senate to take the Congressional Review Act vote to overturn the Bureau of Land Management’s methane rule. With an end to the regulatory overreach that has been stifling the oil and natural gas and many other industries, we can get on with the business of helping the president create thousands of new jobs.”
