Blueprint for Western Energy Prosperity Week

January 27, 2012

Upcoming Events Highlight the West's Significant Energy Potential

(DENVER) – Western Energy Alliance will host three events next week centered on the Blueprint for Western Energy Prosperity, which finds that by 2020, the West will produce as much oil and natural gas on a daily basis as the U.S. imports from Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Algeria, Nigeria, and Colombia, combined. However, federal government policies could significantly undermine these projections of growth, investment and expansion. The Blueprint identifies policy recommendations to ensure America is able to reap the full benefits of western energy. Members of the media are invited and should RSVP in advance to Jon Haubert.
